The Wembley – A St Giles Hotel, Penang

Yeah..the next destination we are going to stay at The Wembley Penang, just 5 minutes drive from Cititel Penang. This hotel is just opened for 2 years and pretty new. 
The Wembley – A St Giles Hotel, Penang, also a four-star hotel offers 415 comfortable guestrooms inclusive of Suites and Executive Rooms are exquisitely designed with batik-style motif, complement with luxurious amenities and complimentary WiFi access. Wembley Café (Level 2) offers a wide selection of mouth-watering food featuring local favourites, Asian and Western cuisine, buffet breakfast and rotational theme buffet dinners in a relaxing, contemporary ambience. 24 hours cuisine-on-call.

During night time, we try the ala carte menu. We ordered Wan Tan Noodle (both soup and dry version). My kids finished up all the noodle. Yummy..Springy and bouncy noodle served with charitable amount of chicken meat and shrimp dumpling.

On the next day, we have our morning breakfast with many local food offerings - such as my favourite nasi lemak, noodle, local kuih muih, desserts, cereals, baked beans, lamb, chicken, popiah roll, Japanese section with cold soba noodles, bread and pastries. Spoilt for choice with this exquisite spread of local and international delights all day long.
Relaxing cafe to have our wonderful breakfast. The have egg station whereby we can order our favourite eggs - you want it to be sunny side up, scrambled eggs, half boiled eggs, poached eggs, hard boiled eggs or omelette. Just named it!

Complementing these fascinating paintings are welded iron wall caricatures - which sees each installation blending humour and historical facts of the streets and landmarks, depicting colloquial demeanour of early settlement days and marking George Town's icons with memorable moniker.

For the ardent shopper, bargains galore await at the many bazaars, shops, departmental stores and shopping malls, namely Komtar, 1st Avenue Mall and Prangin Mall which are located right opposite of The Wembley hotels and are about 100m walk away, or Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon along the renowned Gurney Drive – a 10-minute drive away.
