 For the first time in Southeast Asia, you can customise your own Barbie.

 In a continuous push to inspire the limitless potential in
every girl, Mattel is introducing the first Barbie customisation experience in Southeast
Asia – Barbie: Create Your Own. Barbie: Create Your Own allows girls to use the
endless possibilities of their imagination to customise a brand new Barbie that they
can call their own.

The event will take off at Sunway Pyramid (LG 2, Orange Concourse) from 23rd to 28th May 2017, 10am to 10pm and continue to be held across 3 other locations: Mid Valley (1st – 4th June), KLCC (8th – 11th June) and One Utama (14th – 18th June).
“We always strive to remain relevant to the next generation of parents and girls.Barbie continues to be aspirational, and a vehicle for self-expression and storytelling,” said Fong JiaLi, Head of Marketing of Mattel Southeast Asia.

pieces and playsets to play out a world of endless possibilities. Our goal is to empower girls with choices and unlimited possibilities,” added Fong. “Through the power of open-ended play, storytelling and imagination, girls can imagine anything they want to become through Barbie.”

At Barbie: Create Your Own, girls can pick a Barbie doll of their choice and style it with a wide range of fashion pieces such as dresses, tops, skirts, pants and shoes.
They could even pick playsets and accessories for their customised Barbie doll. Each customised Barbie doll comes in a special packaging printed with the name of its creator.

 In support of Barbie’s philosophy of “a woman has choices,” as said by Ruth Handler,the creator of Barbie, Barbie: Create Your Own is basically designed to help girls
realise that, through imagining and creating their own Barbie world, they have choices in their world and can be anything they want to. Its aim is to ultimately, through choices and creativity, help girls feel empowered and confident inthemselves.

Other interesting activities exclusively held at Sunway Pyramid for the Barbie: Create Your Own event include a Barbie colouring contest as well as storytelling workshop where girls can learn from a creative storyteller how to bring their Barbie world to life.

New DreamWorld Indoor Playland @ The Starling Mall & IOI City Mall Putrajaya

Great news to all mummies and daddies! There is new opening of playland and just the right timing to bring over your kids to give them a new snowy experience this coming school holiday. P&G, Izreen Azminda and Food Aid Foundation Call On Malaysians to Make a Meaningful Differenc

P&G launches ‘Daripada Ibu Kepada Ibu’, a nationwide campaign to help single mothers in conjunction with P&G Malaysia’s 30th anniversary citizenship campaign – ‘P&G Malaysia Gives Back’.

Procter and Gamble Malaysia (P&G) together with well-loved Malaysian actress and television host, Izreen Azminda and Food Aid Foundation have teamed up to launch ‘Daripada Ibu Kepada Ibu’, a nationwide campaign that encourages Malaysians to help ease the burden of single mothers during this Ramadhan season by making donations of non-perishable goods.

‘Daripada Ibu Kepada Ibu’ will take place from 15th of May to 15th of June at 50 participating outlets of all major retail stores (Giant, Tesco, MYDIN and AEON) throughout the country. Customers who purchase RM30 or more worth of P&G products will be entitled to receive a 'Beg Hati'. They are then encouraged to fill that bag or any other bag with non-perishable items such as canned or dried food, cooking oil or detergent and drop them off at collection boxes placed at the selected participating outlets. Food Aid Foundation will collect the items at the end of the campaign and distribute them to single mothers across Malaysia.

Izreen Azminda, ambassador of P&G Malaysia’s ‘Daripada Ibu Kepada Ibu’ campaign also shared, “As a single parent myself, I understand the challenges that come with having to be the sole breadwinner and primary caregiver in the family. A little support from friends and family goes a long way in lifting our spirits especially during festive periods such as Raya when expenses are bound to increase. I am proud to be part of this campaign in support of a cause that is dear to my heart.”

“At Food Aid Foundation, we believe that no one deserves to go hungry. Single mothers are often overlooked by the community and we hope that through this campaign, we are able to shed some light on their challenges and work together to ease their burden this Raya.” said Mohamad Faisal Ghazali, Co-Founder of Food Aid Foundation, who was also present at the launch.

P&G places high importance in being a good corporate citizens and ensure the communities where they operate remain strong and thriving. Aside from ‘Daripada Ibu Kepada Ibu’, P&G Malaysia will be doing other works of charity as part of their ‘P&G Malaysia Gives Back’ campaign throughout the year. Other communities they will be helping include Orang Asli children, flood victims and Malaysians with no access to clean and safe drinking water.
